Together with our partners from Humotion GmbH and the Medical School Hamburg PI joined the SMHS 2023 to present our Smart Injury Project. Here we use our probabilistic machine learning approach DIM-GP to predict runners injuries based on sensor data input. In addition, by using our own developed sensivity analysis algorithms, we determine the key influence parameters leading to an injury. The conference led to many interesting discussions, and we see great potential for ML in general and our probabilistic approach in particular in this field.
